After a couple year in CIMB, in 1994, Tengku Farith was asked to join Road Builder by his father.He pressure because by moving to Road Builder everything he did would be noted and comented on behind his back. Besiades he not sure that leaving CIMB is would be the right thing to do because he like working there. He want to how the 'real' business would be like because before this he just structuring deals at CIMB, so he join the Road Builder. he still not sure and ask adviced from his brother-in-law. He list his weakness and showed to Chua Hock Chin, the executive vice-chairman. Chua didn't mind of his weakness because he want the privatisation specialist and that is what Tengku Farith did at CIMB.
